My job at the factory

I haven't write here for ages. Now I have a kind of working vacation in Vung Tau to fix some documental problems.

It's better to start from the very beginning. Originally I'm a merchindise manager. I started as a simple shop assistant in Nike, Moscow. To let you know my step-by-step career:
- Shop-assistant in Nike-GUM, Moscow. Direct sales.
- Senior shop-assitant in Nike-GUM, Moscow. Direct sales, EKIN coaching for new staff, responcibility for merchandise presentation in the store.
- Cashier in "Springfield" men's wear in MEGA-Tyoplyi Stan.
- Visual merchandiser in Moscow chain of stores "Springfield".
- Visual merchandiser in Moscow chain of stores "4-You" men's wear.
- Wholesale regional manager in  "4-You" men's wear.
- Buyer's assistant in  "3 Tolstyaka", BATA, Moscow.
- Buyer (merchandise manager) in  "3 Tolstyaka", BATA, Moscow.
- Sales planner in "Quelle", Mail Order, Moscow.

Then I missed 4 year of my professional career but learned to be wife and mother. Finally I learned to cook, because when I got married I could cook only salad, sandviches and omelette. In tropical climat of South Vietnam my brain started to melt.

Bakery "LEON", Vung Tau, Viet Nam

It has been raining for every afternoon for a few days, so my friend and I decided to pick up our kids and go to the bakery "LEON", 2 TRAN HUNG DAO Street. It's in front of the popular italian restaurant "Good morning, Vietnam!". It's decorated in soft warm shades and that's the only bakery in Vung Tau which has such a european design. I'm not a restaurant critic but I have something to say.

Saint Jaque in Vung Tau, Vietnam

Well, today more my nostalgie photos from 2006 made by Zenit-E camera. Some history you can find in Google about this monument. As I know this one is pretty the same as in Rio de Janeiro. But I know one romantic legend about these statues, but honestly say I don't remember where I know it from. Probably it's just my fantasy or tropicoz. Once upon a time there was a very rich man who had a daughter. Once she swam on the ship in the ocean and this ship drowned during a storm. The richman ordered to make these statues in different places of world and they look at the place where she drowned. The end. Very sad... So, here are the pictures.

Just look at the man who's carrying a flagstone on his back

Vung Tau 2006

Today I have a nostalgique mood. So enjoy photos from my first visit of Viet Nam. They were made with my old school Zenit-E camera made in USSR in 1982. My memories in details which you won't see anymore like this lamp from Beach Club at Bai Sau or this boat from the top of the roof. All these things were ruined during typhoon "Durian" in 2006.
These shoots have the unique film charm, no Photoshop, just film scan. It's a pity that I didn't bring this camera from Moscow. Maybe next year I'll pick it up...

Bai Sau

Vietnam Style

I was trying to start my blog for a long time. I've been reading lots of stuff how to make the blog, bloggers' mistakes, etc. Then I looked through a ton of english and russian blogs... Well shortly my previous job in marketing made a bad deal for me. Now it's  funny to remember my last night thoughts: "I must be very responsible making the first post", and one Russian adverb "The word is not a bird, you can't bring it back". Just like I'm in my first rocket flight into spaceship and all the country watching me by TV! But my husband and I were watching "Surf's up!" in 100 time and I realized how stupid I am to think about all these things! I forgot about the most important thing in blogging - relax and have fun!

My english posts

I start to translate my posts in english. First of all it's good for my language skills and probably it could be useful for expats and other people who want to know more about Russian-Vietnamese way of life. Sorry in advance for my English - it's no so rich as Russian;)

P.S. It's me on the photo in 2007, London
